What is My "Why?"

What is My "Why?"
Why did I start Massage My Stress Away? I’ll take a few moments to tell you about my “why.”

Years ago, I started to view the state of the world in a different light. Most people are – at their core – nice people. They want to live. They want to help others. They have that dream, that business, or that organization that they want to pursue to make the world a better place.

However, there is a common theme that often stops dreams, goals, and vision in their tracks: lack of money.

I’m not talking about the lack of a swimming pool filled with gold coin. (Think Scrooge McDuck!)
I’m talking about the average family being so far in debt that all they can do is look to the next paycheck.

I’m talking about the average family not being able to save their children from the pitfalls of the modern age.

I’m talking about children being raised with little or no training/knowledge of finance and business.

People are often overworked and underpaid. However, the biggest threat to generations is not the different factors on the outside, but the destructive thoughts between our ears.

These thoughts limit what God has for us. They limit what we can do. They keep us trapped in the past, rather than enabling us to reach for the future.

That’s my why. People can’t run after their dreams if they are focused on the past. They can’t give back if they’re living paycheck to paycheck.

Massage My Stress Away is one of a few sites I’m starting up – all aimed at helping others to relax, take care of themselves, and break the (mental) bonds of the past.

That’s my “why.” I want to help to lift others out of the messes that I’ve lived through all my life.

What is your "why?"
